Pilsen is the lightest of our base malts.
It imparts soft, subtle malt notes and a straw-yellow to slightly golden color.
It can be used at 100% of the malt content in all beer styles and is a perfect complement to other specialty malts.
Produced from 2- or 6-row, spring or winter barley, our base malts offer varying degrees of modification to provide the right levels of enzymes and amino acids to your beers.
