Romain Chiron

After graduating from the École Supérieure d'Agriculture de Purpan in Toulouse Romain started his career in 2002 as Junior Trader at Champagne Céréales. After two years, he was put in charge of oilseeds marketing and management of the derivatives portfolio. In 2007, he became General Manager of Cerecom France, the trading company of Champagne Céréales, where he developed the use of derivatives in managing price risks and oilseed rape trading.

Also in 2007, he graduated from Sciences Po Paris with an Executive Master in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets.

Following the birth of Vivescia, in 2012, Cerecom France became Vivescia Marchés. Romain was in charge of developing Vivescia Marchés, which provides centralized access to financial commodities markets and customized price-risk management solutions for all companies of the Vivescia Group.

Romain moved to Malteurop in July 2014 to take charge of global barley position management and development and implementation of Procurement and Sourcing Strategy and Best Practices for Malteurop Groupe.
