François de Labarre

François de Labarre is a graduate of Sup de Co’ in Paris, holds a Master’s degree in Law from the university of Bordeaux, and is a chartered accountant. He speaks five languages and has gained broad experience in operational Finance with international groups in several countries.

After initial experience in Auditing and Management Control, he held a series of DFA positions. At Lesaffre, a manufacturer of yeast and baking ingredients, he controlled, then directed, the finances of several Eastern European subsidiaries. With the automotive equipment manufacturer Valeo, he was in charge, successively, of the finances of the Czech, Slovakian, and Italian subsidiaries, and then the group’s German and Hungarian companies. He then served as Chief Financial Officer for the Southern Europe zone (France, Spain, and Portugal) for the mining group Omya.

François de Labarre joined Malteurop in July 2016. He heads the Finance and IT teams, with responsibility for proposing and implementing the Malteurop Group’s administrative and financial policy. Among those responsibilities is that of determining the strategy for financing the Group’s growth policy. He also has responsibility for structuring the company financially in such a way as to deal with fluctuations in the markets for raw materials and malt.
