Marketing Specialist - B2B

Job Purpose: 

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible and accountable for all branding initiatives for Malteurop.  This will be covered over a wide array of areas such as social media, our website, event promotion, product promotion and aligning with the sales team.  Bringing brand awareness and penetration to the market place and tracking trends of these initiatives for future planning and investments are a major piece to this role.  You will also be working cohesively with our outside sales team and providing support in the field for events and conferences. The creation of all Public Relation in diverse segments and marketing promotions while bringing a vision to our marketing department for implementation is something we are looking for.  This is a growing role and we’re looking for the right candidate to be prepared to take our brand and product awareness into the next levels.

The Marketing Specialist will also be partnered with our consulting partners for ongoing time sensitive projects and content materials.  Creating a culture of employee engagement while bringing exciting new initiative’s through marketing, customers and technologies are parts of being a valued part of our Malteurop team.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •   Conduct market analysis and identify new opportunities, trends or issues
  • Monitor and report market conditions and impacts with sales activities
  • Gather and analyze customer behavior data (web traffic and rankings)
  • Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics
  • Develop annual planning strategies for brand awareness and penetration
  • Coordinate with the marketing design and content teams to generate content material for digital, sales support, and advertising built to meet customer needs
  • Maintain integrity of brand image by providing guidance to the organization on the brand story and logo
  • Support sales team by listening to their business needs and problem solving for communication solutions.  Develop resources that meet their business needs and deliver on the brand promise.
  • Own all PR and regular social media and blog postings
  • Manage project timelines and team coordination
  • Support management for budget and tracking against KPIs

 Qualifications required:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration or Marketing
  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing position within a B2B industry
  • Experience using CRM system, Salesforce.com preferred
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Adwords
  • Project management experience
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Experience with social media marketing
  • Understanding of online content management and social media strategies
  • Experience creating marketing programs, promotions and creating reports on results
  • Previous experience working with outside firms on marketing initiative’s
  • Strong knowledge of marketing technologies and analytical reviewing
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and communication skills
  • Availability to travel up to 20%
