Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Working with the Chief Operations Officer to establish transload and warehouse distribution capabilities in-line with Craft Market development.
*Negotiate various agreements for transportation services such as railroad rates, container and bulk vessel transportation contracts, truck transportation agreements, and railcar leases.
*Analyzes rates and values, published tariff barley and malt shipping rates to ensure least cost transportation methods are employed at all times.
*Analyzes causes of demurrage and propose and implement remedies to reduce same.
*Manage forward inventory positions at transloads facilities associated material pipeline.
*Manage export shipment material shipment execution (end to end) by selecting export sales loading and transfer points.
*Establishes route instructions for incoming raw materials and outgoing finished product supporting procurement.
*Manage, coordinate and monitor the execution of domestic and export shipments including shipping costs, and malt shipments to customers from different plants.
