Andrey Kichigin

Andrey Kichigin graduated from Saratov State University, Humanitarian Department and then continued his post-graduate study at Moscow State University. Later on he studied at the Business School of the Academy of National Economy in Moscow.

Andrey started his business career at the beginning of the 1990s in a grain trading company and then focused on malt distribution in Russia with the position of Commercial Director of Malt Company Ltd. In 2003 he headed Raisio Group’s operations in Russia as General Manager of Raisio (Russia) Ltd. Later on in 2006 he took the position of General Manager of Copacker Ltd. – the company providing outsourcing services for big international FMCG companies. Andrey also participated in agricultural projects in the Black Soil area of Russia, specializing in malting barley procurement.

Andrey was appointed Malteurop Russian Operations General Manager in 2009. He faces the challenge of developing commercial network in Russia and neighboring countries and establishing a strong barley origination network as well as optimizing the efficiency of Malteurop Russia industrial operations.

He likes tennis, modern jazz music and historical literature.
