Andras Bogyay
Ukraine General Manager
Andras Bogyay is General Manager of the Malteurop subsidiaries in Ukraine – Malteurop Ukraine LLC and Malteurop Eastern Ukrainian LLC.
Andras earned a degree in accounting in parallel with his engineering studies in agro-industrial technologies in Hungary. Since beginning his career in 1998 he has worked in the malt industry, where he began at a Hungarian subsidiary of the Weissheimer Group as production manager. In 2000, he was promoted to the job of plant, technical and production director, and worked with the major brewing groups. After the acquisition of a second malting plant in Hungary, he took part in its reorganization and technical reconstruction.
In 2006, Andras joined the Malteurop team in Ukraine as production manager, then became General Manager in 2007.
The essential challenge for Andras is to continue to improve existing facilities while developing new capacities and introducing Malteurop’s Good Practices into the barley-malt supply chain.
Andras loves tennis and skiing.
