Malteurop in Russia
Belgorsolod, which is located in one of the largest barley growing regions of Russia (Belgorod oblast), was acquired by Malteurop Group in August 2008.
Built in 2004-2005, most of the plant’s state-of-the-art equipment was imported from Germany. Production began in September 2005.
Belgorod highlights the strategic move made by Malteurop in a fast-growing beer market. Committed to partnership with major brewing groups, Malteurop will prioritize the construction of a consistent beer-malt value chain and the optimization of the industrial capability of the site.
