Malteurop in Poland

Baltic Malt, located on the port of Gdansk since 1997, was acquired by Malteurop in 2007 and is now known as Malteurop Polska Spółka z o.o..

The capacity of this malting plant will be increased to 160,000 tons in 2009. Its vocation is to fill the growing needs of large brewers on a Polish market that is structurally an importer of malt.

To strengthen its partnership ties with the major brewing groups, one of Malteurop’s priorities is to put in place a modern, complete value chain, from barley to malt. As integrator of that chain, Malteurop is participating in the development of the production of quality malting barley and accompanying the modernization of agriculture in Poland.
