Quality Policy
MALTEUROP Ukraine has as a main target to reach very high quality and keep it on the stable high level for which the MALTEUROP Group is known, in Central Europe. This will allow us to achieve full customer satisfaction with our products. For this we concentrate our efforts on the barley supply chain:
- Supporting usage of certified seeds;
- Encouraging the best producers with system of premia;
- Training farmers and providing them with modern technologies;
- Strict incoming control for quality requirements correspondence.
The second main direction is close contact with the customer:
- Quick reaction on customer's needs and expectations;
- Openness to the customer.
The third main direction: provide our customers with a competitive product on the market:
- Production costs optimization;
- Implementation of energy and water saving technologies.
MALTEUROP Ukraine Quality Service
The Quality Department is in charge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
Quality Control
In every plant there are QC laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art analytical equipment which allows us to carry out a full range of analyses of raw materials, in-process control, ready made malt and co-products. Both laboratories are certified by National Standardization Committee (UkrDerzhPotrebStandart). Our labs participate in the following Proficiency Interlab Testing Schemes:
- IFBM Malt Proficiency Test (Nancy, France)
- MALTEUROP corporate Barley Ring Test
- ITW corporate Malt Ring Test
This helps us to verify our methods and prove the reliability of the results we obtain.
Both labs are guided by EBC Analytica, MEBAK, and Ukrainian standardized methods for analysis of barley and malt quality.
Quality Assurance
We are responsible for:
- Analyzing the processes;
- Creating procedures;
- Improving current procedures;
- Controlling conformity to those procedures;
- Keeping Quality Management Systems at a high level of reliability;
- Developing and implementing QMS according to requirements of ISO 9000 standards.
The Quality Service is board member of Technical Committee # 67 of Ukrainian standardization committee "Beer and non-alcoholic beverages" for development of a national legislative base in malt manufacturing.
