Production of Malt in Ukraine
The malt is produced from high quality barley in malthouses that are built according to the latest modern technologies and that meet European standards of quality and product safety. MALTEUROP owns two malt houses in Ukraine:

The process of producing malt is carried out in three distinct steps which usually do not last more than 7 days: Steeping - Germination - Kilning
Latest Technologies to Ensure Product Quality
The production is fully automated and assures high quality product by:
- Total computer traceability of the production process;
- Pre-defined production recipes and automatic processing;
- Malt storage by individual and homogeneous batches to allow perfect malt blending;
- Highly efficient laboratory integrated into the interlaboratory MALTEUROP Group circle equipped with micromalting to assure management of the production process.
With a total annual malting capacity of 160 000 ton in Chernigov (50,000 ton) and Kharkov (110 000 ton), MALTEUROP Ukraine is the largest maltster in Ukraine since 2005.
